Created over a 10 year period, these ware images for KEH Camera catalog covers from the ’80’s and ’90’s. Actually, there is only one photo prior to 1993 as it was shot on film, the rest were digital camera captures from early digital cameras to digital scan backs and then DSLR. This image was the cover of my first digitally photographed catalog back in 1993-94. The assignment was to photograph 200 framed art pieces to put in a catalog for hotels, hospitals and interior design firms. The digital camera was a JVC analog to digital signal capturing device yielding a 6 megapixel image. It took between 4 and 7 minutes to generate one exposure back then.
