It is a great honor to have 3 images on exhibit in my first gallery showing along side 24 of my peers and educators in the photography industry at the California Photographic Workshops in past years. the exhibition is at Arts Benicia, in Benicia, California from July 24 through August 24, 2019.

New Arts Benicia exhibit showcases work of California Photographic Workshops alum

Seraphina Landgrebe’s “Pathway to Stars” is featured in the upcoming Arts Benicia exhibit.
BENICIA — Arts Benicia is presenting an exhibition that highlights the artistic work of the alumni of California Photographic Workshops and pays tribute to their legacy of nurturing the development of working professional photographers and photographic artists.
In/Sight will be on view in the Arts Benicia gallery Thursday through Aug. 25.
California Photographic Workshops, a group of professional photographers, created annual educational programming and summer seminars in the 1990s and 2000s that drew hundreds of photographers each year to their California locations.
The exhibition will feature the works of 26 alumni artists from CPW. The exhibition has been curated by Michael Van Auken and Lisa Jetonne Quintero.
An opening reception with the curators will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Professional photographer Van Auken has devoted his career to capturing the personal histories of individuals, families and artists through his photography.
Quintero, exhibitions and public programs manager at Arts Benicia, draws on her background in sculpture and natural history programming into her work as curator and installation designer.
Participating artists include Suzette Allen, Jon Allyn, Bambi Cantrell, Kathi Corder, Lisa Evans, Jim Fidelibus, the Estate of Marilyn Garry-Mulkeen, Sandra Harris, Harvey Henningson, Judy Host, Melinda Hughes, Peg Jackson, Linda Johnson, Seraphina Landgrebe, Shel Najera, Janel Pahl, Robert Pierce, Ray Prevost, Karyn Sarganis-Fritz, Jeremy Sutton, Eddie Tapp, Paul Tumason, Michael Van Auken, Adale van Dam, Joyce Wilson and Jon Yoshi.
